This is the third arson of Roshen stores in the Ukrainian capital in recent days.
On Wednesday evening, March 20, in Kiev, unknown persons threw an incendiary bottle into a Roshen store.
The incident occurred on Darnitskaya Square in the Dnipro district of the capital. Two unknown persons threw the “Molotov cocktail” into the window of the store. Fortunately, the bottle did not break through the glass and did not get inside the room. Ignition stopped at the threshold of the store.
The attack was made after 9:00 pm when the store was already closed so no one was injured during the incident. Firefighters and policemen arrived at the scene.
Note that this is the third attempt to arson the Roshen stores in the Ukrainian capital.
On March 17, they set fire to the Roshen store building near the Heroes of Dnipro metro station. On March 18, in Kiev, on Kreschatik Street, not far from the Bessarabian market, another Roshen store was burning. The policeman reported that they detained a 53-year-old resident of the capital, who is suspected to be a part of an extremist organization. Criminal proceedings have begun on the subject of the intentional destruction of property and hooliganism.
Subsequently, police said they had detained another suspect. It turned out to be a non-working native of the Khmelnitsky region, born in 1964, previously never arrested by the law enforcement officers.
