The adviser demanded 30 thousand dollars from the owners of a network of pawnshops situated in Kiev.
In the Security Service of Ukraine, they say they have exposed volunteer adviser to Ministry of Internal Affairs in extortion of a bribe in the sum of 30 thousands of USD.
This was stated by the press-service of SSU on March 14.
“The adviser, with the assistance of the administration of one of the investigative departments of the National Police, demanded through an intermediary thirty thousand dollars from the owners of the Kiev pawnshop network,” the investigators uncovered.
For this bribe, the adviser to the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs promised that it would contribute to the fact that pawnshop workers were not brought to criminal responsibility and stopped investigative actions in the framework of the proceedings.
It is noted that law enforcement officers detained an intermediary in Kiev while receiving $ 30,000.
