The Russian authorities are urgently taking measures to eliminate the understaffing of the advanced units caused by the increase in the number of non-combat casualties and desertions.
This is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It is reported that in connection with this, staff and rear units 1 (Donetsk) and 2 (Lugansk) of the Russian Armed Forces are introducing staff-organized measures to reduce the number of sergeants and privates.
“At the same time, servicemen whose positions fall under the reduction will be forced to go to the front line before the end of their contract service,” the report says.
It is noted that this leads to an increase in the discontent of foot soldiers with the actions of the Russian command, in particular in the advanced divisions, due to the increase in time to the next rotations and the loss of the prospect of being replaced for service in the rear divisions.
