According to by the results of the survey Ukrainians still, believe that Poroshenko will win the elections despite the actual ratings of the leading candidates.
The leader of the presidential rating is Vladimir Zelensky who is supported by 27.7% of those who are determined and intend to vote.
This is evidenced by the results of a poll of the Center for Social and Marketing Research “Social”, conducted from March 5 to March 10.
The second position is held by the current president, Petro Poroshenko, who is ready to be supported by 19.6% of respondents, and the third is by the leader of “Batkivschyna” Yulia Tymoshenko, with the support of 14.8% of those who have decided and will vote.
The study also states that 9.6% of respondents would vote for Yuriy Boyko, 8.2% for Anatoly Hrytsenko, and 4.8% for Oleg Lyashko. 3.4% of respondents would vote for Igor Smeshko, Alexander Vilkul – 2.8%, Ruslan Koshulinsky – 2.3%, Yevgeny Murayev – 1.9%, Alexander Shevchenko – 1.6%, Yuri Tymoshenko – 1.2 %.
Less than 1% of the polled Ukrainians, who decided on their choice, would vote for other candidates.
It is reported that in the course of the survey, respondents were also asked to make their own prediction of who would become the next president of Ukraine.
So, to the question: “Tell me, which of the following candidates, in your opinion, will win?”. 23.9% of respondents believe that the winner will be acting President Pyotr Poroshenko.
19.3% of respondents predict a victory of Zelensky, and Tymoshenko -13.2%.
It is noted that the respondents reluctantly believe in the victory of all other candidates, none of the candidates receive indicators above 3%.
At the same time, it is indicated that about a quarter of respondents (24%) have not yet been able to decide who exactly will become the next president of Ukraine.
2000 respondents took part in the survey in all regions of Ukraine (excluding the population of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions).
The sample is representative for the population of Ukraine over 18 years of age in terms of gender, age, type of settlement and area of residence. Statistical error of the study: +/- 2.1%
Research method: personal formalized interview (face-to-face) at the place of residence of the respondent.
