Presidential candidate Yulia Tymoshenko said that the members of the “Batkivshchyna” party were interrogated by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).
This was announced by the party leader during her interview in the “Freedom of Speech” TV-program.
“The Prosecutor General’s Office is now controlled by the person closest to the President … Today, both the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Security Service of Ukraine have become, in fact, a department of electoral fraud and all these electoral problems,” said Tymoshenko.
The presidential candidate also said that all members of election commissions and observers in Ukraine from the Batkivshchyna party were summoned by the SSU to be interrogated.
“And there is a questioning sheet. They are called, they are intimidated, they are asked: why did you go with “Batkivschyna”, with this candidate, stop supporting them,” the party leader explained.
Tymoshenko said that those under pressure are asked to give evidence of bribery.
“More than 10 thousand official summonses for questioning were issued to our members of the commission and observers in order to intimidate and destroy people,” Yulia Tymoshenko summed up.
