

Unidentified persons who introduced themselves as Kyiv residents handed out money for voting for a particular presidential candidate.
The press service of the Chernivtsi regional police reported that on Tuesday, March 26, the police received a message that unidentified persons in the village of Staraya Zhadova, Storozhynetsky District, were bribing voters.
People were given a 1000 UAH (approximately 37USD) to vote for one of the candidates for the presidency of Ukraine. Investigative operational groups of the Main Directorate and the Storozhynets police department immediately left to investigate.
Currently, the received information about bribing of the voters is investigated. Policeman establishes and interrogates witnesses of the incident.
The issue of entering information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations on the grounds of part 2 of Article 160 (Bribing a voter, referendum participant) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being resolved.
