According to the latest estimates for October-December 2018, the “People’s Front” political party allocated 64.9 mln UAH on outdoor advertising, of which 61.4 mln were taken directly from the budget.
Information on misappropriation of budget funds was published by the “Committee of Voters of Ukraine” with reference to the public report of the party. The biggest spending on advertising on TV is 17 mln UAH. 9 out of 17 million were paid to Media Partnership Buying, 5 million to Global Media Group, 1.8 million went to Starlight Brand Content.
Almost 12 million were spent by the party on billboards and light boxes.
“Probably, we are talking about paying billboards, placed in November-December with the appearance of one of the leaders of a political party. A significant number of such billboards can be visually observed in Kiev,” commented representative of “Committee of Voters of Ukraine”, speaking about advertising with Yatsenyuk.
1.4 million was spent to print posters, 0.4 million on the radio, 0.1 million on print media.
