The team of Zelensky believes that to achieve changes in the country, you need to change the Head of the Security Service, the Prosecutor General, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Minister of Defense.
The team of the winner of the presidential election Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the current Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko should leave his post.
As reported by “Interfax-Ukraine”, this was stated by a member of the team, former Finance Minister Alexander Danilyuk at an event of the European Business Association “New 5 year challenge: Expectations. Hopes. Concerns” on Thursday in Kiev.
“My position on Yuriy Lutsenko. I understand that now there is a huge desire for the establishment to maintain the status quo. But Volodymyr [Zelensky – ed.] during the announcement of the election results made an important statement: he believes that Lutsenko is a man of the past,” said Danilyuk.
“And if he wants, he can return to politics, but he will definitely leave the post of Prosecutor General, where people who will carry out a real reform must come,” the adviser believes.
According to Danilyuk, in Ukraine in recent years “quite a lot of activists have appeared who could claim this position.”
“We have enough people who can prove themselves in this position and have a good reputation and serious support of the society. We have a lot of anti-corruption activists,” said Danyluk.
“I would advise one of the activists to take this position,” he stressed.
According to the adviser, the litmus paper defining changes in the country will be personnel appointments, namely, the head of the SSU, the Prosecutor General, the Foreign Minister, and the Defense Minister.
“These are four appointments that will determine the motion vector in the future,” he added.
