“Ukrtransnafta” stated that they are forced to suspend transit due to the poor quality Russian oil.
On Thursday, April 25, at 21:43, “Ukrtransnafta” company forcedly suspended the transit of oil through the Mozyr-Brody oil pipeline (Druzhba).
This was stated by the press service of the company on Facebook.
The company stressed that the transit was suspended, because “raw materials do not meet the quality indicators.”
“The company, in particular, made such a decision, guided by an agreement on the provision of oil transportation services through the territory of Ukraine. According to the terms of this agreement, ‘Ukrtransnafta’ has the right to stop the shipments of Russian oil if the raw materials do not comply with quality indicators. All material losses are borne by the side that did not hold back the fulfillment of their duties,” the statement says.
“Ukrtransnafta” also stated that they are forced to suspend transit “due to the refusal to accept substandard Russian oil at the Budkovce delivery point (Slovakia) and due to the lack of free reservoirs at Fenyeslitke oil receiving sections (Hungary) “.
