

Volodymyr Zelensky declared 143 million hryvnias of expenses in the first round of elections; he received these funds mainly from private contributions and party funding.
This is reported by the CHESTNO movement which analyzed the expenses of Zelensky for the election campaign in the first round, according to his final financial reports.
The Zelensky election fund was replenished from various sources: deposits of individuals – 71.7 million UAH and from the party “Servant of the People” – 65.9 million UAH, the candidate’s own funds – 11.7 million UAH, deposits of legal entities – 7.1 million UAH.
Among the 5 donors who made the largest contributions to the Zelensky Fund are the companies registered in the Cherkasy region and are engaged in wholesale trade in grain and fuel. Among private donors who financed the election campaign were Zelensky’s colleagues from the “95th quarter” TV-show, members of the Zelensky team, former People’s Deputies.
75% of the funds (about 107 million) from the Zelensky election fund went to broadcast TV ads. Volodymyr Zelensky ordered television advertising on most national TV channels: ICTV – for 19 million UAH, STB and 1 + 1 – 17 million UAH each, TRK Ukraina – 16.6 million UAH, INTER – 13.7 million UAH, New Channel – 10,5 million UAH.
22.5 million UAH (16% of the fund) the winner of the presidential election spent on advertising on external media. These funds were received by one company – Concept Media LLC.
