The bishop who has been a monk for 30 years also has an apartment in the center of the capital.
The Vicar of the Kyiv Metropolia of UOC-MP, Archbishop Buchansky Panteleimon has bought an apartment in the coastal region of Bereznyaki in Kiev for more than 4 million UAH. This is evidenced by the data of the State Register, informs the website “Our Money”.
According to the documents, Archbishop Panteleimon real name is Bashchuk Victor Romanovich. On February 19 of this year, he bought a three-room apartment with a size of almost 103 square meters on Pavel Tychyna Avenue, 16/2.
According to sources of “Our Money,” the Archbishop bought his apartment for more than 4 million USD that is less than 150 thousand dollars. All funds for the apartment have already been paid. Victor Baschuk became a monk in 1986. He studied at the Moscow Theological Academy. In 1996 he was accepted into the brotherhood of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. From January 2016, by the decision of the Synod of the UOC-MP, he was appointed by Archbishop Buchansky as the Vicar of the Kiev Metropolia.
According to the state register of real estate, the Archbishop Panteleimon (Victor Bashchuk) also owns an apartment in Pechersk in Kiev – on Moskovskaya, 36 street. This apartment is mortgaged by “Ukrsotsbank”, where Baschuk took a loan of 20 thousand dollars back in 2008.
Additionally, in the State Register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there is information that in 2013 Baschuk became the owner of the Volkswagen Touareg (produced in 2013), and in 2014 – the Volkswagen Caravelle (produced in 2009).
