Speaker of the Ukrainian Parliament Andriy Parubiy will consider his resign only after the adoption of the Law on the Ukrainian language.
He stated this during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada [ed. – Ukrainian Parliament].
“Yesterday, the Verkhovna Rada’s office received a statement from the Deputy Pisarenko about collecting signatures on the subject of the resignation of Andriy Parubiy from his post. I want to inform you, I will immediately give an order, like all previous times, when Rabinovich submitted such an application so that they would immediately issue subscription lists. And I emphasize that this process will not be delayed. Collect signatures and I promise you the following – I will immediately put this question to the vote. With one nuance – only after I sign the law on the Ukrainian language,”- said Parubiy.
Earlier we wrote that the Verkhovna Rada began to collect signatures for the resignation of Parliamentary Speaker Andriy Parubiy. The initiator was the MP from the “Vidrodzhennya” party Valery Pisarenko, who reported this to Facebook.
“Dear friends, today in the Parliament we are starting to collect signatures to remove the Head of the Verkhovna Rada from office.
I believe that the time has come to end the era of lawlessness, injustice, and impunity,” Pisarenko wrote.
