Politicians visited Moscow to meet with Medvedev.
Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko declared that the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine (GPU) will initiate criminal proceedings on presidential candidate and representatives of the “Opposition Platform – For Life” Yuriy Boyko and Victor Medvedchuk on the subject of their visit to Russia.
He said this on March 27 at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
“Today a proceeding on the illegal crossing of the border will be registered. But there are questions not only to the aero service but also to the border service, which released these persons contrary to the established order,” said Lutsenko.
The Prosecutor General assured that “a legitimate reaction will not be slow.”
On March 22, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting in Moscow with presidential candidate Yuriy Boyko and Viktor Medvedchuk who is often considered a best friend of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
