Prime Minister Groysman was sued for not controlling Avakov’s activities.
The District Administrative Court of Kiev received a lawsuit against Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman and Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov for their actions and omissions to be declared unlawful.
It is reported by the press service of the District Administrative Court of Kiev.
“In particular, the plaintiff asks the court to declare unlawful the actions of the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov regarding the provisions of Article 7 of the Law of Ukraine ‘On the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine’ concerning requirements to members of the Government,” the court reported.
In addition, the court noted that among the claims of the lawsuit is to recognize the inactivity of Groisman regarding the non-implementation of control over Avakov’s activities as unlawful. The claim concerns the fact that Groisman didn’t send to the Parliament note about the dismissal of the Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
At the moment, the court decides on the opening of proceedings on the administrative case.
