
The President of Ukraine appointed the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Sergei Krivonos as Chairman of the Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation. It is noteworthy that earlier Krivonos withdrew his candidacy from the presidential elections-2019 in favor of Poroshenko.
President Petro Poroshenko appointed deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Sergei Krivonos as Chairman of the Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation and export control policies.
The corresponding decree on the change in the personal composition of the commission Poroshenko signed on Tuesday. The decree comes into force on the day of its publication. Earlier this post was held by Oleg Gladkovsky.
Krivonos is the First Deputy Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces. He was a presidential candidate, but on March 6 he withdrew his candidacy in favor of Poroshenko. On March 12, Poroshenko officially introduced Kryvonos as Deputy Secretary of the NSDC.
Previously on February 25, the Bihus.Info project announced investigations into embezzlements at Ukroboronprom, in which, according to journalists, the son of the First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleg Gladkovsky Ihor Gladkovsky with figurants Vitaly Zhukov and Andrey Rogoza were allegedly involved. NABU stated that the firms involved in the investigation are the objects of the Bureau’s investigations.
March 4, Petro Poroshenko said that he had dismissed Gladkovsky from his post as Deputy Secretary to the National Security and Defense Council.
