The mistress of the parliamentarian has property of more than 1 million dollars; however, the presidential candidate did not include this asset in his declaration.
Oleksandr Vilkul did not included in his declaration a common-law wife who owns property worth about a million dollars and using the car of Rinat Akhmetov’s company, the assets and the house of the former mother-in-law.
This is stated by the Bihus.info.
In January 2018, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau initiated criminal proceedings on the suspicion of Alexander Vilkul in false declaration of income.
In late December, the case was closed for lack of corpus delicti. However, in early February 2019, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office resumed the investigation.
At first, NABU found out that the People’s Deputy did not indicate the property of his common-law wife Maria Lyashenko in the declaration. According to detectives, in 2014-2017 Vilkul and Lyashenko regularly traveled abroad together, in particular, on her Range Rover car, which was driven by the People’s Deputy.
Vilkul in the comment to the journalists said that he met Lyashenko, but has no mistress.
According to the registry of vehicles, in addition to Range Rover, 30-year-old Maria Lyashenko has another SUV Jeep Grand Cherokee. Also, she owns two houses in the elite cottage town “Golden Keys” near the Dnipro, with an area of 119 and 241 square meters. The total value of all this property – about half a million dollars.
In addition, in the summer of 2018, Lyashenko purchased a 187-meter apartment in the center of the capital – on Staronavodnitskaya Street (housing prices in the area, depending on the repair, range from 400-600 thousand dollars).
Vilkul himself, according to the materials of the case, used the 380-meter-long house in Kozin, that is the property of his former mother-in-law, Maria Kondratyuk. She acquired it in 2006, when her then son-in-law was first elected to parliament.
Also, the Lexus GX 460 and two Honda GL 1800 and Harley Davidson FLSTFB motorcycles is the property of the former mother-in-law of the Deputy. These vehicles are used by Vilkul himself.
The People’s Deputy also drives a Range Rover automobile that is listed as property of Central Mining and Processing Plant CJSC, the beneficiary of which is Rinat Akhmetov. It is this billionaire who is called the financial donor of the Opposition Bloc, to which Vilkul belongs.
