Not waiting for the opening of criminal cases and allegations of corruption after the change of power the Heads of three regions have already resigned.
So the chairman of the Mykolaiv Region State Administration Alexey Savchenko wrote the letter of resignation from a post.
According to local journalists, Alexey Savchenko has already left for Kiyv and instructed to remove his name from the doors of his office.
Savchenko was appointed to the post of Chairman of the Nikolaev Regional State Administration in October 2016. In his competitive work, Savchenko made several absurd mistakes, some of which are hard to understand at all.
As Head of the region, Savchenko noted a number of ambiguous and curious statements.
In particular, on August 15, 2018, he wished the Mykolaiv archaeologists to find the mythical “golden fleece and artifacts of the time of Conan the barbarian.”
Later, on August 27, he pushed local journalist Ivan Kazora when he tried to talk to President Petro Poroshenko. Savchenko declined to comment on the incident, but he called the journalist to a sparring match.
Savchenko was also a witness in the case of Yury Krysin, a journalist suspected of murdering Vyacheslav Yeremey. Aleksey Savchenko himself testified in the General Prosecutor’s Office, and then he acknowledged that Krysin had informed him about preparations for the shooting of Euromaidan activists two days before the start of the tragic events.
In addition to Savchenko, the application was filed by the Head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Gennadiy Moskal.
Moskal Petro Poroshenko filed a letter of resignation. At the same time, he said that he wanted to resign at his own will before the established term of office.
“In accordance with paragraph 9 of part 1 of article 9 of the Law and on the basis of article 38 of the Labor Code of Ukraine, I ask you to stop my stay on leave and dismiss me from the post of Chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration on my own will,” Gennady Moskal wrote in a statement.
