The ex-wife of the “gas king” accuses him of money laundering and is going to write a complaint to the prosecutor.
The ex-wife and stepson of the Ukrainian oligarch Dmytro Firtash are going to file a lawsuit against him to the Vienna Prosecutor’s Office for causing damages of almost 5 billion euros.
This was reported by the sources of the “Austrian Press Agency,” writes Die Presse.
In particular, the ex-wife is going to write a statement about Firtash’s money laundering to the Central Prosecutor’s Office on Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption in Vienna.
The complaint also includes Firtash’s confidant who “holds a high political position in Ukraine.”
“Firtash’s ex-wife and his son accuse the suspects of illegally withdrawing funds from the main company and transferring them to offshore companies in the early 2000s,” the media stated.
