Volodymyr Slabovsky, Director General of one of the largest Ukrainian agro-industrial companies Allseeds died in an accident Kiev.
The journalist Yury Butusov reported this on his Facebook page. He added that Slabovsky was a very high-class businessman. He died in an accident.
“His company demonstrates impressive growth rates, it is one of the leaders in investments in production in Ukraine, and top managers of this class are unique and irreplaceable people. But above all, he was a citizen. I became acquainted with him because Volodymyr is a very partial person. From the very beginning of the war, he directed great resources to help Ukrainian soldiers. It is difficult to count the number of thanks for the volunteer assistance that was given to Volodymyr Slabovsky,” wrote Butusov.
According to Butusov, many senior officers and generals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were well acquainted Slabovsky, who especially often visited Mariupol and helped to solve dozens of different issues.
“Slabovsky provided tremendous assistance to those combatants who had to rely solely on volunteers support, such as the volunteer detachments of the Right Sector and the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, the Donbas battalion. Together with the volunteer fund of the patriot Odessa citizen Mark Gordienko, Slabovsky set up a channel of assistance to the 8th battalion of the Aratta UDA – including a mini-tractor for equipment of leading positions,” the journalist said.
At the same time, Slabovsky refused from all PR and fame.
“He was a patriot of Ukraine from Donetsk. He had property and business in the Donbas. But he left everything in 2014 without a moment’s hesitation. And even the ashes of his parents, he took out of the occupied territory and reburied them near Kiev, so that nothing connected him with the Russian aggressors. He always said to the fighters: ‘I will not return to my native Donbass until the invaders are expelled, and I will help our army until the Donbas becomes Ukrainian again,’” Butusov said.
“Ukraine suffered a huge heavy loss … People like Volodymyr Slabovsky create added value not only in business – they create added value in everything they touch and above all to the people of Ukraine, of which he was and will be …” – concluded the journalist.
