A bail was made for the head of the Kherson regional council Vladislav Mangera suspected of organizing the murder of public activist Katerina Handziuk.
This was announced on Facebook by his lawyer Dmitry Ilchenko.
He noted that he had paid for the client personally.
“If I accepted help from everyone who wished to help Vladislav Mangera, we would have already raised more than 2 million USD,” the defender said.
Ilchenko explained that he decided to make a bail personally in order to avoid “another wave of conjectures from Dotsenko and Co. (ed. Security Service officer) about the money.
The lawyer also announced the receipt of bail.
Vladislav Mangera may be involved in the assault on the journalist Sergei Nikitenko.
